Chang Ucchin

Access to our virtual series gives students the chance to participate in projects inspired by other living and historical artists. 

This activity is inspired by artist, Chang Ucchin, who lived in Korea under the Japanese Imperial rule (until it ended after WWII). Very interesting story in this lesson—we hope you enjoy!

Supplies Needed:

  • White paper

  • ChipBoard (back of a cereal box or the board we sent in Japan week 3)

  • Paints: Navy, White, Orange

  • PBWR (paint brush, water, rag)

  • Small piece of cardboard or a credit card.
